Two climate-friendly container ships commissioned by Elkem for NCL’s North Sea operations
Euro Nordic is proud to announce that North Sea Container Line (NCL) will deliver 2 x 1,300 TEUs dual fuel Methanol powered container vessels by end 2024.
At the same time, Elkem ASA announced that they have entered into a long term agreement with NCL to further improve Elkem’s North Sea Logistics. Enabling the use of green methanol as fuel, featuring high safety standards, the new ships will enable operational efficiently and more climate friendly shortsea liner service between Norway and the Ports of Rotterdam and Moerdijk.
